Pineapple Rum Punch

No tropical beach vacation this year? No problem, just whip up this pineapple rum punch and relax. It tastes like something you’d enjoy while sitting at a beachside bar, watching the waves roll in!

Spiced Pineapple Rum Punch. This is YOUR new holiday rum punch. You will be the talk of the town when you bring this to all your holiday parties this year.

Ingredients

• Simple syrup
• Pineapple wedges for garnish
• few drops citrus bitters
• Cinnamon Sugar for rim
• 2 Tbsp Simple Syrup
• 2 1/2 C fresh pineapple juice
• 1/4 C Lime juice
• 1/2 C Koloa White Rum
• 1 C Lemon Lime soda - I used Hansen's
• 1 C Koloa Kauai Spice Rum
• 1 C Ginger Ale
• 1 C fresh orange juice

Instructions

1. First, Use fresh pressed/squeezed juices if possible for fresher flavor. Combine the rum, juices, simple syrup and bitters in a pitcher without ice. Let chill a few hours before serving to blend the flavors.
2. Then, Prep the glasses : Dip glasses in a shallow bowl with a tablespoon or so of simple syrup in it then into a shallow bowl with cinnamon sugar and rim the tops of the glasses evenly. Set aside to dry ( 4:1 sugar to cinnamon ratio - I like using tablespoons for measure)

4. When ready to serve pour into a large pitcher, Sangria style pitcher works great, then top with the ginger ale and soda.
5. Fill glasses with ice and pour in punch, garnish with a pineapple wedge.
