This fried chicken recipe is a fun family of us. It contains all the classic ingredients of fried rice with teriyaki chicken. Serve with vegetables to make it a full and delicious meal!
Ingredients
- 1 (18 oz) bottle Teriyaki sauce
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots (thawed)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 cups cooked white rice (day old or leftover cold rice is best)
- 3 Tablespoons sesame oil (or vegetable oil)
- 3-4 Tablespoons soy sauce
Instructions
- Cook the chicken in a teriyaki sauce in a pot of pottery over high heat for 3 hours. Or in the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 minutes. Once cooked, cut into small pieces. Aside.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet or pan over medium heat. Add the mixture of peas / carrots, onions and garlic. Turn over until fried.
- Turn the heat low to medium low and push the mixture aside. Pour eggs on the other side of the pan. Turn over until the eggs are fried.
- Add the rice and soy sauce and mix well. Stir in the cooked chicken and cook until the mixture is heated. Service and enjoy!
