Chicken Alfredo Baked Ziti Easy 40 Mins

This recipe for roasted Alfredo chicken with Ziti is made with a mild Alfredo sauce, easy to match with vegetables and additional spices, and always very entertaining and delicious.

Even though this recipe includes the Alfredo Sauce recipe I'm relieved, there are many other ways that you can make homemade food a little healthier if you want. From replacing whole wheat pasta (this is my choice), to add the vegetables you choose (we are quite partial with broccoli in our house), to make it gluten-free, if you want to do it with a few simple adjustments, there are many options to adjust this casserole. And in addition, you might be ready to serve a large crowd in less than 45 minutes.

INGREDIENTS:
CHICKEN BAKED ZITI INGREDIENTS:
  • 12 ounces uncooked ziti (or any pasta shape)
  • 2 cups shredded, cooked chicken (about 2 small chicken breasts)
  • 1 batch alfredo sauce (see below)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • toppings: lots of freshly-grated Parmesan cheese, finely chopped fresh basil or parsley
  • ALFREDO SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
