The Griddle Breakfast Sandwich recipe is filled with crunchy bacon, thick slices and lots of scrambled eggs and crispy grated cheddar cheese, all stacked between two pieces of thick fresh bread.
Ingredients
- 4 slices thick cut bacon
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- Country Buttermilk Scrambled Eggs
Instructions
- In a baking tray or large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until it becomes crispy. Transfer to the plate towel paper covered with drain. Do not throw the bacon grease on the bread tray / pan.
- Place two slices of cheese on one slice of bread on a chopping board. Add half the eggs and two slices of bacon. Add two more slices of cheese and cover with a second slice of bread. Repeat this to make two sandwiches.
- Heat the bacon on medium heat. Place the sandwiches on the roasting / frying pan and toast until golden brown on each side and melt the cheese.
- Hot service.
